CLIENT FAQs

What type of clients do you work with?

Rock Solid Virtual Assistants partners with a wide range of clients — from small business owners to CEOs of growing companies. We regularly support businesses in creative, financial, nonprofit, professional services, and administrative industries, as well as established firms that need reliable, skilled support.

What type of services do you offer?

Our virtual assistants specialize in a broad range of support, including (but not limited to):

  • Social media management

  • Digital project management

  • Copywriting and editing

  • Email marketing

  • Course creation and management

  • Data reporting and tracking

  • Inbox and calendar management

  • Scheduling and administrative support

In short, if it can be done remotely, there’s a good chance we can help — with the exception of picking up dry cleaning or driving kids to soccer practice!

You can explore our full list of services on our Specialized Services page.

Where are your assistants from?

All Rock Solid assistants are U.S.-based and go through a rigorous vetting and evaluation process. We uphold very high standards and work only with experienced professionals who demonstrate strong communication, reliability, and skill.

Why should I work with a VA through Rock Solid?

Rock Solid is different from other virtual assistant companies because of our intentional, hands-on matching process.

We carefully vet every assistant, match based on skill and working style, and provide ongoing support to both clients and contractors. Our goal isn’t just to assign a VA — it’s to build a partnership that helps your business grow with confidence.

Your success truly is our success, and we’re committed to helping you move forward with clarity and ease.

Are your VAs direct employees or INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS?

All Rock Solid VAs are independent contractors.

When you work with us, we handle the interviewing, vetting, matching, and administrative logistics — including contractor paperwork and tax documentation. If the thought of W-9s and 1099s makes you cringe, you’re in the right place.

How many hours do I need a VA for?

This is one of our favorite questions — and it’s something we’ll explore together during your discovery call.

Our ongoing support contracts begin at 10 hours per week, with most clients landing between 10–15 hours. You may be surprised by how much a skilled VA can accomplish in just 10–12 hours due to efficiency and experience.

We also offer project-based support, which does not require a minimum number of hours and can be customized around a specific initiative. We’ll help you determine which option best fits your current needs.

Is it common to have nerves about this process?

Absolutely.

You’ve worked hard to build your business, and trusting someone else with parts of it can feel like a big step. Many of our clients are delegating for the first time — and those nerves are completely normal.

The good news? This process is familiar territory for us. We’ve seen time and again how the right support quickly brings relief, clarity, and momentum. You won’t be navigating this alone — we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

VIRTUAL ASSISTANT FAQs

How does the matching process work?

Our matching process is one of the things that sets Rock Solid apart.

During the application and interview process, we evaluate each assistant’s skills, experience, communication style, and work preferences. We then thoughtfully match assistants with clients based on alignment — not just availability — to create productive, long-term working relationships.

How many hours will I be working?

Most Rock Solid VAs work between 10–30 hours per week, depending on client needs and individual availability. We do not guarantee full-time hours, as our model is built around flexible, client-matched support.

How competitive is your pay?

Our pay rates are very competitive. Rock Solid is proud to offer some of the highest rates in the industry, reflecting the high level of skill, professionalism, and reliability we expect from our assistants.

Can I work outside of Rock Solid?

Yes. You are welcome to take on clients or projects outside of Rock Solid, including part-time work.

However, we do not contract with assistants who hold a full-time job. Our priority is to ensure that our clients receive consistent, high-quality support, and we’ve found that a full-time role elsewhere often limits the availability and focus required to deliver it effectively.

Do you contract with assistants outside of the USA?

No. Currently, we exclusively work with U.S.-based virtual assistants.
